day off work so not going near a gym. tried to run 5k, but my knee hurt at 0.3 miles, so i stopped and turned around.

 

will be working on knee therapy and swimming until my knee gets better from now on.

was planning on 10-12 miles today but my knee started hurting at about mile three and got worse up to mile 4 so i called my wife and had her pick me up. no sense in getting benched for a few months just for a training run.

pretty sure it's my it band. i've been very good about therapizing my other leg's it band (casue ive had problems there), but i've neglected this one. looks like i need to be rigorous with both.

got to gym late so only had 30 minutes to go. i upped the difficulty level to 15 to compensate. had trouble maintaining 90 rpm and dropped to 85 for significant portions of time. 9 miles in 30 minutes

yoga. substitute instructor so was a bit different but still a good workout. feel like i'm getting some flexiblity for the first time in my life.

upright bike machine, level 13 difficulty. felt good. knee wasn't hurting so i pushed it hard. average of 19 mph for one hour.
